Rob Watson Art

A good friend of mine Rob Watson from Nottingham has gladly agreed to showcase his excellent modern work at the restaurant. Rob has studied fine art since 1997, at college he explored various areas including design & fashion, but discovered his true skill was art where he could express himself passionately through visual means. Throughout his education Rob had access to a large range of mediums, painting, printmaking, sculpture & photography, in most cases his ideas would involve several different mediums, after college & university Rob's work narrowed more towards painting, most of his inspiration has come from traveling, sunsets, beautiful landscapes & the many interesting people with amazing stories, then putting all of the emotion & feelings from these experiences onto canvas. Rob is a great philosopher and I quote from one of our most interesting chat's "when painting I find I am searching for answers, to teach myself how the paint works, colour mixing together or the affect of the brushstroke once it hit's the canvas" Rob's work is now on show & sale throughout the restaurant & will be here in person on Saturday 20 th May for our lst year anniversary evening, where everyone is welcome, we'll see you there.
